Khandagiri square Bhubaneswar.

Now-a-days the Dam is not in use but has become a scenic and popular place for sight seeings, excursions etc.

On our way to Deras we arrived at the entrance of Chandaka Sanctuary.
Elephants are protected here, and therefore the statues..

There is a Bamboo House on the top of the small hill which is meant for night stay.I will provide its pics soon..

India Falter Again

Earlier in the day, skipper Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf put on a 168 run partnership that powered Pakistan to 306/6 in their alloted 50 overs. When India begain the chase, Tendulkar was in good form but otherwise the start was quite disastrous. India were never quite in the chase after the quick wickets early, except for the period when Yuvraj and Rohit Sharma partnered for 81 runs. Pakistan bowled well in the middle overs, Alam and Malik succeeded in checking the run rateAfter a composed fifty, Rohit Sharma departed and India lost Yuvraj and Dhoni in quick succession. And that was the beginning of the end.
